Wayne County Tourist Commission Announces New Executive Director

The Wayne County Tourist Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Conley as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.

A proud product of Wayne County, Emily is a 2001 graduate of Wayne County High School and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006. Over the past 25 years, she has built a distinguished career specializing in customer service, hospitality, multi-unit management, and leadership development.
Emily's professional accomplishments include the Young Professionals 40 Under 40 Impact Award (2021), completion of BRIGHT Leadership Kentucky (2018), and the Barnes & Noble Campus Leadership Award (2017). She is recognized across her industry for her work in affordability initiatives, leadership training, and community service.

In her first months, Emily will focus on listening to constituents, developing a vision and mission for the commission, and building a strategic plan. She will also lead Wayne County in upcoming events and activities in collaboration with multiple community partners.
